Western Colorado University Adjunct Lecturer In Business in Gunnison, Colorado
POSITION:
Western Colorado University invites applications for an open pool adjunct lecturer faculty position for the School of Business in the area(s) of Accounting, Finance, Business Law, Marketing, Sales, or related areas. The School of Business may hire adjunct faculty from an applicant pool from time to time. The teaching load and course assignments are made by the Associate Dean. Teaching could be days or evenings and will be in-person or hybrid. Instructors may be hired for fall, spring and/or summer term in a given academic year. Applications will be accepted throughout the academic year. Hiring decisions are normally made during fall semester for spring semester, during early spring semester for the summer term, and during the late spring for fall semester.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A terminal degree is preferred. However, candidates with a master s degree in a relevant field or 20+ years of significant industry leadership experience will also be strongly considered.
Candidates must have a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate education, excellence in teaching, and willingness to work with and be sensitive to the educational needs of a diverse student population. Candidates must also be able to use technology in instructional delivery, including the ability to teach online and hybrid courses. Collegiality and professional flexibility are characteristics of the department and would be sought in the successful candidate.
COMPENSATION?:
Compensation is based on both credit hours and qualifications. Candidates with a terminal degree receive $1,500 per credit hour, while those without a terminal degree are compensated at $1,400 per credit hour.
