This position is for a Compensation Analyst, with a company location in Gulfport, MS.

Summary: The Compensation Analyst will administer, maintain and provide analytical/consultative support for incentive compensation plans. This position will also support the Compensation Team's efforts with regard to compensation administration including: Annual Merit process, Survey Management, Audit support, standards and procedures, Internal Controls, assistance with Job Pricing and maintenance of Workday Compensation information.

Duties and Responsibilities Include: Prepares Bi-weekly Functional Incentive file and Other Miscellaneous Payroll payment files and works error items to resolution on a timely basis while maintaining proper the audit documentation; Maintains analytical files on a monthly basis for the Compensation Manager including but not limited to Incentive Payments, Incentive Eligibility changes and other departmental measures; Assists with Market Surveys Participation data collection, data corrections and on-going Comp Analyst system maintenance; Responsible for processing Work Day Position Management requests timely, accurately and communicating the status to the Requestor.

Requirements and Qualifications Include: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience; 0 to 4  years of business experience, in Compensation, Human Resources, Finance or related discipline preference given to candidates with banking experience; Analytical skills with regard to data trends, file balancing and documentation requirements; Strong verbal and written presentation skills with the ability to present to various levels of Associates; Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Intermediate Excel skills required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions; Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines; Ability to operate  related equipment to perform the essential job functions; Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions; Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
