What You Will Learn:
The Category Management Administrator is responsible for leading efforts to apply the principles of category management as strategic business units to deliver greater value to the consumer, foster business growth and do justice to our brands in assigned accounts. Customer assignments are broader requiring Advisory.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the optimal achievement of spaces that give competitive advantage to our products in terms of location, distribution, and exhibition on the shelves of the assigned accounts, following the principles of category management
Handles analytical depth and uses market information to the maximum to support decision-making aimed at maximizing sales, profitability and satisfying the customer and consumer.
Develops, presents, and implements effective planograms considering the rotation and profitability of the products in each category.
Evaluates, shares, and makes recommendations on the results of navigation, implementation, distribution (POG) and learning strategies to define proactive and corrective actions in future reviews.
Directly responsible for the management of "fixtures" for Cosmetics in its clients, as well as the implementation and inventory of the graphics during innovation periods.
Coordinates and acts on findings in store audits that seek the quality of execution of our categories (cosmetics and personal care)
Identifies opportunities and develops recommendations to optimize the gondola space, considering the needs of the client and the leadership objective of our brands.
Supports creation of selling points/stories to present initiatives. This includes projects to enhance our brands and categories for the benefit of the growth of both parties.
Provides support to sales, marketing and key account managers on issues related to categories and product mix analysis and category management execution KPIs.
Active collaborator in the input to the internal teams (sales, logistics and marketing) on product distribution, filling of gondola for innovations and withdrawals of the portfolio – collaborator in the initial forecast process in each category review and planograms.
Active participant in the development and application of "Insights" together with Marketing and Trade Marketing.
Responsible for supervision and training of the staff in charge.
Comply with all Company policies and procedures, including without limitation the Employee Handbook, ethical standards, health and safety protocols.
You can perform other tasks related to the position as required or that may arise in the future.
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related disciplines.
Language: Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Years of Experience: Minimum five (3) years of experience in similar or related position. Experience in the consumer goods or beauty Industry is preferred .
Job Specific Experience/Skills:
Proficiency in supplier management software like Retail Link, Pro-Space, Nielsen.
Up to date with the latest category management principles.
Working knowledge at evaluating current business retail practices.
Ability to generate reports on market activity and communicate them effectively.
Ability to think from a consumer and customer centricity perspective.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, business applications. Certified Professional Category Analysts (CPCA) is preferred.
Travel: This position may require traveling up to 15% for business meeting or trainings.

Preferred Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of products/category
Research and market data analysis
Knowledge of competitors, markets trends and consumers
Financial knowledge (P&L, S21, Cost of Goods, sales forecasts)
Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal).
Possess strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate with confidence to both internal and external customers.
