Job Title: QC Inspector I

Job Description

The QC Inspector I is responsible for 100% review of all paperwork for accuracy and completeness. This position may also assist in the releasing of sterilized devices and complete review of sterilization records. The QC Inspector I will be responsible for Incoming Inspection (IQC) and ensuring product received meets all incoming inspection criteria and release conforming product. Knowledgeable in all aspects of 3+ areas, the candidate is qualified in assigned areas and builds expertise in other areas. Occasionally, the role requires flexibility to other areas but under direction and/or supervision.

Hard Skills

  • Document Review

  • Review all Device History Record (DHR) for accuracy and completeness

  • Cross-reference detailed information through the DHR

  • Initiate correction of discrepancies pertaining to DHR records, times, temperature, documentation errors, counts, etc.

  • Maintain Good Record-keeping practices

  • Place Nonconforming product on hold in System/Physical Hold

  • Verify documentation (PO, CoA, CoC, MSDS, etc.) before inspection activities

  • Complete all receiving forms as required by procedures

  • Inspect material using various measuring tools, verify counts, and utilize specification sheets and drawings

  • Complete all documentation related to non-conforming material

  • Perform quality control/release testing on products and incoming quality inspections and tests of raw materials

  • Generate TrackWise reports for any errors/nonconformances encountered

  • Maintain spreadsheet for tracking and trending analysis

  • Maintain accurate and organized maintenance of quality records

  • Maintain quarantine cage in accordance with Quality Hold Procedures

Soft Skills

  • Precise and meticulous in observing and recording all details of daily processing

  • Willingness to work as part of a team, contributing ideas to improve processes

  • Available for cross training

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in TEMPE, AZ.

Work Environment

Clean air conditioned work environment in a brand new facility. Required attire includes closed-toed shoes and work pants/jeans with a plain shirt. Work hours are from 5AM to 1:30PM, Monday to Friday.
