Job Title: Lathe Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced lathe machinist to join our team. In this role, you will set up and operate lathe machinery, potentially running up to two machines simultaneously depending on the job requirements. The company supports the military and aerospace industry, and we are looking for a long-term addition to our team. You will be responsible for running and setting up machines, as well as performing checks to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathe machinery

• Run up to two machines simultaneously as needed

• Perform checks on machinery to ensure smooth operations

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machinery

• Follow blueprints and technical drawings to meet specifications

Essential Skills

• Lathe setup

• Fanuc control

• 3 years of experience working in the aerospace industry

• Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues

• Experience with lathe machining, blueprint reading, and machine operating

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of machinist experience

• Experience with Fanuc controls

• 5 years of CNC machining experience

Work Environment

Our production team consists of about 30 people. The work hours are from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Groveland, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.00
