Under the general direction of the County Commission, the employee provides maintenance services to the County Jail The employee identifies maintenance needs and either performs or ensures that the maintenance is completed Supervises subordinate employees Uses equipment to perform skilled maintenance functions. Secures and provides access to the Jail as necessary. Minimum Qualifications: Three to five years of related work experience Courses in building maintenance and construction are preferred Experience in working in a public or governmental environment is preferred Ability to be on call 24/7 Possession of a current and valid Alabama driver's license
