Job Summary
The Project Solutions Engineer (PSE) enhances the customer experience and drives revenue growth and profitability by partnering with the Business Development (BD) and Account Management (AM) teams to build customer relationships and secure projects for Fabcon. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role involves collaborating across departments to service current clients, develop new business opportunities, and ensure seamless project handoffs. The PSE plays a pivotal role in supporting Fabcon’s mission to deliver the best possible building solutions through expertise in design, manufacturing, and construction.
Objectives and Key Outcomes
Client Relationship Management
Collaborate with BD and AM personnel to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including building and business owners, developers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Serve as a primary point of contact during pre-sale activities, including reviewing bid documents, drawings, and specifications.
Educate and guide clients on effectively utilizing Fabcon’s products and services to meet their project needs.
Respond to technical questions related to product solutions.
Business Development Support
Research leads, qualify prospects, and analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities.
Assist in the preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, and bids to secure new projects.
Represent Fabcon at industry events, promoting the company’s products and services to expand its market presence.
Actively utilize CRM to record activities, update customer contact information, and capture relevant project information.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, including estimating, engineering, project management, manufacturing, and field service personnel.
Communicate client needs to internal teams to develop tailored solutions that align with Fabcon’s capabilities and client objectives.
Ensure smooth project handoffs to the project management team by clearly defining scope and expectations.
Market Analysis and Reporting
Conduct research on market share and competitive positioning in assigned markets.
Maintain accurate records of activities, customer contacts, and project details in the CRM system.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve sales strategies and outcomes.

Required KSA’s and Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in business administration, Sales and Marketing, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of two years of experience in construction, architecture, or structural engineering.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
Working knowledge of precast concrete products and services.
Working Conditions:
Standard office conditions with occasional remote work opportunities.
Requires minimal travel (less than 10%) for client meetings, site visits and industry events.
This position may require occasional visits to a manufacturing or construction site. Personal Protective Equipment is required to be worn in designated areas in plant and construction sites.
