Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician with extensive experience in PLCs, HMIs, DC Drivers, Vision Inspection, Laser Marking, Robotics, and Electric Motor Drive Technologies. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in both electrical and mechanical systems, capable of maintaining, repairing, and optimizing advanced manufacturing equipment. Automation Controls Responsibilities: - Perform basic programming on Programmable Logic Controllers, motor controllers, frequency drives, vision inspection systems, laser marking systems, and robotics - Basic programming, configuration, interfacing, and troubleshooting skills with the following controls, interfaces, and advanced assembly systems: PLC, HMI, DC Driver, Vision Inspection, Laser Marking, and Robotics. - Interpret, modify and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD, if required - Lead automation controls projects with minimal supervision - Quickly respond to and resolve any production related issues - Work with multi-discipline teams to standardize automation technologies - Make modifications to Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) - Develop processes to enhance rapid troubleshooting of maintenance team, reducing MTTR - Promote, lead and apply six sigma methodologies (Lean Manufacturing Methodologies). - Vision Inspection Concepts: Able to troubleshoot and make adjustment to Vision Systems, if applicable. Electrical / Electronic Responsibilities: - Maintain electric motor drive technology including: AC variable frequency, AC servo, DC servo, electronic and mechanical clutch / brake, and encoders. - Analyze problems pertaining to electrical power distribution, as well as electro-mechanical and electronic control systems. - Install, maintain, dismantle, repair, overhaul, and rebuild electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment and components such as electric power distribution circuits, electric lighting, electric climate control systems, electric appliances, wiring, and controls. - Install electrical circuits to NEC and local code requirements including installation of conduit and wire. - Perform electronic installation and troubleshooting. - Operation, setup, and maintenance of automated equipment. - Draw wiring schematics and similar duties. Ability to read and design wiring schematics.

*Mechanical and Pneumatic Responsibilities: *- Update, modify, and continuously improve existing controls systems including robotics, ladder logic programs, relay logic, electrical distribution, motor controls, operator interface, pneumatic/hydraulic distribution. - Coordinate with production and maintenance on existing machine control modifications or installations. - Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. - Actively seeks opportunities to streamline and improve all production activities across all functional teams in a collaborative manner. - Follows in-process inspection procedures, checks quality of work visually, and verifies inspections by completing records. - Escalates barriers and issues immediately to supervisor and necessary support functions. - Responsible for the manufacturing of products and supporting all aspects of the production line. - Ability to follow all safety procedures and programs per company policies. - Ability to operate and perform small repairs to MHEs (Forklifts, Walkies, etc.) What qualifications will make you a successful candidate for this position? - 2 Year Technical Degree preferred AND/OR Minimum 2 Year College Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field AND/OR - Associate of Applied Science in Industrial Electricity, Controls and/or Electronics
