Insight Global Instrument Technician in Groton, Connecticut

Job Description

A pharmaceutical client in the Groton area is hiring for a Instrument Technician to work within defined operation parameters, maintain facility GMP mechanical equipment, perform instrument calibrations, and lock out tag outs supporting facility project upgrades or routine maintenance, develops and executes demand and scheduled work orders. This person will also participate in department meetings and safety meetings as required and show commitment to continually improving skills through participation in educational opportunities. In this role you may be asked to work a flexible schedule to meet the department needs in the facility when required.

Skills and Requirements

High school diploma or relevant work experience

Must be mechanically inclined and able to learn quickly

Experience working on equipment for electrical and/or instrumentation maintenance

Basic computer skills and the ability to learn or operate the following programs: Word, Excel, and DeltaV digital control systems.

Good problem solving skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to understand standard operating procedures GMP experience null
