Maintenance Supervisor

Pay Rate :

$75,800 - $101,000

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Lead and direct plant maintenance activities; ensure equipment and facilities are kept in optimum operating conditions.

  • Report to Manufacturing Manager any information that may impede the operation of the plant as soon as it becomes known, while providing technical expertise regarding plant equipment and facilities.

  • Initiate and/or maintain a cost-effective preventive maintenance program and Implement quality improvement and cost reduction ideas

  • Contact and work with vendors and subcontractors to achieve desired results.

  • Maintains adequate inventories of spare parts and Purchase materials, parts, and supplies as required.

  • Troubleshoot and solve problems.

  • Partner with Maintenance Manager to develop technical skillset of maintenance team.

  • Champion safety culture.

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Four years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.

  • College and/or related technical courses preferred.

  • Experience in the corrugated box industry with heavy experience in electronics preferred.

  • Mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated personnel supervisory skills.
