Essential Functions:

  • Verifies, validates, and monitors SQF systems, pest control, food safety programs, quality programs, training programs, customer/consumer complaints and compliance.

  • Develop and maintain plant policies, documents, and procedures.

  • Identify improvement potentials on the production lines and participate in the implementation of those projects.

  • Ensures compliance with GMPs throughout the facility.

  • Continuous monitoring and evaluation of process information from production.

  • Completion of root cause and corrective action analysis.

  • Development and maintenance of quality documentation.

  • Familiar with relevant regulatory and private standards.

  • Organization, planning, and performance of internal audits to evaluate the implemented systems and their effectiveness.

  • Develop and lead the implementation of the SQF system at the facility.

  • Review and approve all SQF documents.

  • Coordinate monthly SQF meetings as fitting with the Food Safety and Quality Team to discuss and report issues, concerns, and improvements to maintain the integrity of the SQF system.

  • Communicates to relevant personnel, all information essential to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of the SQF System.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience in Food/ Beverage Manufacturing preferred.

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, SAP and Power Point.

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems, results oriented.

  • Organized and detail oriented, adaptable to change.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.

Experience

Preferred

  • 3 years: Education and Experience:  Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Food Science, Quality or related discipline  Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality within a manufacturing environment, preferably food/beverage industry  Knowledge of quality systems (GMP, HACCP, SQF) – certification ideal
