Job Title: Solutions Architect

Salary: $160,000 and Standard Benefits.

Location: 8515 East Orchard Road, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 *May work remotely from anywhere in the US.

Duties: Recognize and propose alternatives, make recommendations, and describe any necessary trade-offs. Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions directly with the development teams. Leverage technical aptitude and direction-setting skills with the development organization to prove out technical concepts quickly using a variety of tools, methods, & frameworks. Help define and execute on the business aligned technical strategy and vision. Develop solutions, document, and provide input into the technology roadmap for Empower. Create Reference Architectures that demonstrate an understanding of significant components and the relationships between them. Maintain a high level of skill in various application deployment and workload architectures, such as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS). Provide guidance and direction on the use of technologies such as REACT, Spring boot, Serverless, JavaScript, Typescript and other AWS technology stack. Design and modernize complex application architectures into cloud compatible or cloud native application solutions where applicable. Create strategies and designs for migrating applications to cloud systems. Participate in the evaluation of new technologies, integration options, challenge the status quo, create solid business cases, and influence direction while establishing partnerships with key constituencies. Implement best practices, standards & guidance, then subsequently provide coaching of technology to team members. Make leadership recommendations regarding strategic architectural considerations related to application design and process. Provide strong leadership and direction in development/engineering practices. Collaborate with other business and technology teams on architecture and design issues. Respond to evolving and changing security conditions. Implement and recommend security guidelines. Provide thought-leadership, advocacy, articulation, assurance and maintenance of the Enterprise Architecture discipline. *May work from anywhere in the US.

Requirements: Master's degree* (or foreign equivalent) in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related; 3 years of experience as a Technology Architect/Specialist or a related position, which must include: Build Omni channel solutions by implementing cloud native REST API, Spring Boot, Node JS, AWS ECS, AWS EC2, AWS Code Pipeline, AWS Code Build, AWS Code Commit, Splunk, Dynatrace and Jenkins. Design and building complex DevOps and CI/CD process using AWS DevOps toolstack, Jenkins. Putting together standards and process and procedures using middleware tools and technologies around other industrial domains such as Insurance, Banking. Component Stack Solution Design and build Technical Requirement Specifications for diverse cloud and middleware technology development teams.

*Will also accept a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in lieu of a Master's degree and three years of experience, including experience listed above.
