Charter Communications/Spectrum Product Manager - WiFi Product Owner And Manager (SAFe Agile in Greenwood Village, Colorado

BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

The WiFi Product management team is responsible for providing a seamless and secure general public access to Spectrum WiFi access points. This includes establishing and maintaining business rules for WiFi product, management of authentication policies and customer experience with Out-of-Home WiFi and responsibility for continuous improvement of WiFi quality across the Nation.

We are looking for a self-starter who excels in a collaborative team environment and enjoys extracting valuable insights from data analysis and converting them into requirements for new and existing features in WiFi product. Ideal candidate will have wireless or mobile background with a good understanding of networking systems.

WHAT OUR PRODUCT MANAGERS ENJOY MOST Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Deeply understands industry best practices in product development process specific to the cable or telecommunications space and translate appropriate steps for unique organization and market position. Informs and assists with gathering information to translate high-level process goals into specific sub-processes with appropriate documentation, develop communication plan for stakeholders and process participants. Supports the development and communication of product strategies dependent on new services/features to drive financial results. Works with engineering, product management peers, marketing stakeholders and key market areas on implementing strategy. Leads product launches and enhancements of products across Charter's service and application portfolio, including working cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing and Operations divisions within Charter. Identify risks, dependencies, next steps and Ensures communication with all stakeholders is being managed effectively. Act as a Product Owner to an agile development team: understand the product and how to improve it, write requirements (business cases and user stories) and support development and testing teams during a lifecycle process, participate in all agile ceremonies Document business rules, process flows and other team documentation Conduct market research and data analysis to aide in Requirement Gathering stages Assist with creating product roadmap Using available data, identify areas of improvement, and propose solutions Present proposed solutions in a straightforward, precise manner for Executive review and approval

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications Experience: Product development/management - 3-5 + years of experience Cable/telecommunications/software/online services - 3-5+ years of experience Education: BA/BS technical degree related to the telecommunications field or operational/process optimization Skills: Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint Effective organizational and office management skills Effective cognitive and communication skills Effective analytical skills Effective business sense and sense of urgency to achieve business results Abilities: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Ability to learn from a new environment and make an impact quickly Ability to manage and foster change Ability t work with large, cross-functional teams in order to achieve business goals and results Ability to listen to multiple points of view and synthesize against goals for recommendations Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively and independently Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties Ability to analyze and interpret data and synthesize recommendations Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.) Schedule: Full time. This position is eligible to work in a hybrid work model (combination of in-office and remote days) Preferred Qualifications MBA degree Advertising or video services
