The Director of WiFi Product Management is responsible for Product leadership from ideation to launch of high value WiFi product initiatives. This leader in the WiFi Product team will have a team of Product managers to support, while managing concurrent priority programs. The role will be critical to shaping the future of Spectrum WiFi. Key responsibilities include: 1) managing a team of Product managers, responsible for key strategic initiatives, 2) contributing to the WiFi product roadmap, 3) cross functional Product delivery across WiFi Engineering, Field Operations, Customer Operations, Network Operations.
WHAT OUR PRODUCT MANAGEMENT DIRECTORS ENJOY MOST
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Deeply understand industry/technology/consumer/competitive trends and translate into actionable & practical product roadmaps, then implement in a manner that is on time.
Develop strategic roadmap working with Research, Competitive Intelligence Group and Corporate
Finance to develop business plans and projections.
Work with engineering, product management peers, marketing stakeholders and key market areas on implementing strategy.
Develop clear & concise performance tracking tools to focus attention on areas requiring improvement.
Drive cross product applications and be accountable for revenue and cash associated with those initiatives.
Lead content and product launches and enhancements of products in the two Charter Operating Units to include working with Corporate Engineering, Corporate and Field Marketing and Field Engineering to design corporate guidance for pricing and packaging strategies and coordinating creation and usage of package codes for systems.
Key liaison with Procurement, Engineering, Marketing and Operations roles to assess and plan for cross product and emerging applications needs to include but not limited to, spearheading cross-functional meetings and conference calls, and meeting with vendors to assess their production capabilities.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
Experience:
5+ years of Consumer Product management
5+ years of Related industry experience
Education:
Undergraduate degree required
Technical Skills:
Extensive Product Management, material P&L accountability, and/or Corporate Strategy experience
Skills:
Cable, Internet, and/or Web 2.0 industry experience
Requires strategic thinking, deep analytical, and executive presentation/ communication skills
Abilities:
Ability to analyze and interpret data
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel as well as in public forums
Ability to perform business negotiations
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Ability to simultaneously manage several projects
Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc)
Ability to lead large, cross-functional teams in order to achieve business goals and results

Preferred Qualifications
MBA preferred
Prefer technical degree related to the telecommunications field, individual coursework related to telecommunications field, attendance of telecommunications seminars

The base pay for this position generally is between $124,000.00 and $220,000.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
