Robert Half is offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Construction Defect Litigation Paralegal in Greenwood Village, Colorado with one of our clients. This role is within the legal industry, where your primary responsibilities will involve heavy calendar management and dealing with construction defect and insurance defense work.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain an organized calendar system

• Handle various aspects related to construction defect cases

• Work with insurance defense litigation

• Employ Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), and other case management software for efficient work management

• Use CompuLaw for legal calendaring and docketing

• Oversee billing functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Prepare and review construction documents as needed

• Administer claims in line with company policies and legal requirements

• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring clear and accurate information exchange

• Prepare briefings on case updates and other relevant information.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal

• Proficient in using Aderant software as well as iManage

• Capable of operating Adobe Acrobat effectively

• Experience with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)

• Familiarity with Case Management Software

• Ability to handle CompuLaw software

• Proficient in executing Billing Functions

• Experienced in Briefing and Calendar Management

• Skilled in Claim Administration

• Excellent Communication skills

• Knowledgeable in Construction Defect and Construction Documents

• Experience in Insurance Defense and Insurance Defense Litigation

• Ability to manage Calendar - Docket

• Skilled in Maintaining and Managing Calendars
