Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in GREENWICH, Connecticut. In this role, you will be tasked with managing all aspects of credit collections and accounts receivable process within the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize online tools such as Quickbooks to maintain and update financial records

• Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure consistent operations

• Keep track of invoices and payments, and manage the resolution of any billing discrepancies

• Engage in timely and effective collection of debts and payments from clients

• Negotiate with clients in non-payment situations, and set up payment plans as required

• Conduct regular financial reports to present to senior management

• Utilize Netusite for integrated accounting functionalities, if familiar

• Manage all aspects of credit collections and accounts receivable process

• Handle bookkeeping activities professionally and accurately

• Employ strong analytical skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is required

• Ability to handle and effectively respond to Inbound Calls

• Demonstrated experience in handling Billing Functions

• Comprehensive knowledge of Collection Processes is necessary

• Proficiency in using Quickbooks Online

• Experience in Credit - Collections is crucial

• Familiarity with Oil & Gas - Revenue Reporting is an advantage
