Job Schedule: 9/80 Work Schedule – (Every other Friday is a non-workday.)

Job Description:

L3Harris is currently seeking a Senior Specialist, Software Engineer to join our team. This position will be based at our Greenville, TX facility and offers a 9/80 schedule.

Essential Functions:

  • Design, implement, and integrate software with languages such as C and C+

    • Ability to develop and analyze design tradeoffs against scope, cost, and schedule constraints
  • Support continuous improvement, process innovation, and lessons learned activities

    Job Qualification Requirements:

    Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. A degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is highly desired. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret (SCI) security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship is required.

  • Experience as a software developer required.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field

  • Strong working knowledge of C/C++ and Python

  • Experience with software development targeting Linux operating systems

  • Exposure to digital signal processing (DSP) such as time-frequency analysis and spectral estimation

  • Experience with one or more AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch

  • Advanced knowledge of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and statistical modeling techniques

  • Experience with algorithms/processing including TDOA, FDOA, and AOA
