Job Schedule: 9/80 Work Schedule – (Every other Friday off)

Job Description:

L3Harris is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Software Engineer to join our team. This position will be based at our Greenville, TX facility and offers a 9/80 schedule.

Essential Functions:

  • 2+ years of object-oriented development experience using C++.

  • Design, implement, and integrate software in a Linux Environment.

  • Utilize scripting languages such as Python.

  • Perform software coding and debugging, perform software unit tests, and integrate software components.

  • Ability to analyze requirements and design tradeoffs against scope, cost, and schedule constraints.

  • Support continuous improvement, process innovation, and lessons learned activities.

    Qualifications:

  • Availability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree.

  • A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience in Design Patterns and Frameworks.

  • Development experience using Qt.

  • Proficient in Java development.

  • Familiarity with programming in various JS frameworks.

  • Exposure to Agile development and DevOps.

  • Able to communicate effectively and work closely with assigned software team.

  • Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
