This position manages all aspects of the technical department including managing maintenance costs, contractor-performed maintenance, regular and preventive maintenance, and new equipment installations and improvements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build, lead, and train a cohesive team for technical employees focused on company objectives of safety, quality, service, and efficiency.
• Drive and apply lean principles to the maintenance processes to minimize waste and increase the throughput.
• Use data collection processes to evaluate unplanned downtime and implement corrective actions to drive metric improvements.
• Maintain spend forecast and approve monthly RandM spend for the facility.
• Organize, lead, and track capital projects.
• Maintain production standards and measurement systems as required.
• Maintain facility standards
• Maintain Enterprise Asset management system
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification:

Required

• Bachelor's Degree - Technical Management or Plastics Engineering
• RJG Training Certifications - Systematic I and II

Desired

• Master's Degree

Work Experience:

• 5-10 years of relevant work experience
• Preferred: injection molding, tooling management, and facility maintenance experience

Travel Requirements:

• 5% - 15% travel
• Valid driver's license required / Motor Vehicle Report required
