Job Description:
Will work closely with L3Harris Internal Research and Development (IR&D) developing proprietary ELINT and/or COMINT technology and capabilities.
Will interface with other Systems Engineers, IR&D Project Owners, Chief Engineers, Software Engineering, Flight Line Test, and Project Engineering to understand new baseline functionality.
Participate in risk and vulnerability assessments (as required) of information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs, coordinate L3H efforts to develop Security Impact Assessments (SIAs) of proposed system modifications for submittal to the ISSM.
Collectively demonstrate exceptional technical competence, reliability in delivering mission-critical infrastructure, and continually ensure the highest levels of accessibility, optimization, and security.
Understanding of software engineering, hardware engineering, and program management.
Prepare and present technical results for internal and external program meetings
Document and support infrastructure, network, & mission processor design verification tests within lab, ground and flight test environments.
Develop, track and present technical metrics
Manage requirements using collaborative tools through all phases of the project.
Follows existing standards to document system testing status and anomalies with system hardware and software and verifies subsequent anomaly fixes.
Will utilize several online tools including Jira, DOORS, and Confluence.
Read and interpret block diagrams, wire diagrams, mechanical drawings and circuit schematics
Essential Functions:
Ability to obtain both an initial secret security clearance and ultimately a TS/SCI Security Clearance
Functional working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

Bachelor’s Degree:
Electrical/Computer Engineering
Computer Science
Physics
Math
Other related degree
Requires strong knowledge of job area. Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline. May have broad knowledge of project management. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration and/or project management, and/or model-based systems engineering
Understand basic networking and familiarity with NIST publications
Functional working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
Experience or proficiency with Linux administration, Bash scripting, Windows PowerShell, Windows administration, Nessus, Wireshark, Nmap
Cybersecurity Certification such as Sec+, CASP+, CySA or CISSP
Experience using MATLAB
Knowledge/experience in Geo-location technologies
