POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Support Services Manager, the valet attendant provides assistance, direction, concierge support and other guest services functions to Bon Secours St Francis patients & families. The valet attendant responds to requests for customer service and creates/maintains a positive public image as an initial point of contact for all.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Valid driver's license with an official motor vehicle record that meets the recommended criteria outlined by our insurance carrier.

2. Ability to operate both standard and automatic transmissions.

3. Demonstrate strong customer service skills.

4. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

5. Ability to stand for long periods of time during all types of weather conditions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Performs valet services of parking, retrieving, and delivering customer vehicles.

• Provides “front door assistance” to customers entering and exiting the establishment by offering information, direction, and assistance.

• Greets and welcomes customers facilitating access and use of establishment.

• Handles valet tickets, keys, and equipment in accordance with company policies.

• Performs concierge duties as needed. Hails taxicabs and stands at the front door or designated area to aid.

• Ensures a clean working area by keeping the area neat and free of debris.

• Conducts all duties in accordance with any legal or mechanical guidelines.

• Assists with quality assurance monitoring by completing daily tracking information.

• Adheres to Bon Secours St. Francis Health System rules, regulations, and polices.

• Performs other duties as assigned. Assists and supports other departments when needed.
