What You Will Be Doing
Become a key player in the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics F-16 Program in Greenville, South Carolina, as an F-16 Block 70 Manufacturing Support Team Member. This role offers comprehensive training, certification, and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing and assembly processes for cutting-edge aircraft, driving innovation and excellence in aerospace.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in all phases of the F-16 Manufacturing and Assembly process, with a focus on obtaining and maintaining certifications to excel in your role.
- Observe, assess, instruct, and train personnel on-the-job to ensure adherence to process standards and foster personal skill development.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges within aircraft manufacturing processes.
- Conduct corrective action investigations, perform root cause analysis, and drive process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Champion 6S/lean methodologies to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace in your assigned area.
- Collaborate with personnel for re-certification and provide recommendations for de-certification based on performance standards.
- Provide expertise in addressing a variety of complex issues in the aircraft manufacturing process, leveraging creativity and technical knowledge.
- Actively contribute to process innovation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive program success.

Basic Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience relative to aircraft manufacturing, structural assembly, or Modification.
• Experience in explaining/demonstrating layout process and secure coordination of assemblies, working to station, water, center, and butt lines as shown on engineering documents.
• Experience reading and interpreting detail, blueprints, lay-out sketches, process standards and specifications
• Experience with understanding aircraft work instructions.
Desired Skills:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
10 years aircraft structural assembly or modification experience
5 years or more of F-16 structural repair experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for the purpose of communication and instruction at all levels.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
