Lockheed Martin Material Distribution Handler in Greenville, South Carolina

Description:

You will be the Material Distribution Handler for Production Operations. Our team is responsible for supplying build material and hardware to support F-16 production.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Material Distribution Handler you will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Conduct weekly POU audits which include chemicals, hardware, and consumables

- Movement of kits from Material Flow Center to support production line as required.

- Optimize presentation and safe guard of materials to the shop floor according to pick tickets generated from SAP.

- Perform required cycle counts of material and help maintain inventory accuracy on the floor.

- Working our Quality Management System

- Will help 6Sing work areas and keeping areas clean

- Will monitor and work the PC Callboard

- Assist with locating lost parts

- Provide general shop support to the floor

- Work the aging line rejects

- Assists with other duties as required by

Leadership Team

This position is in Greenville, SC Discover Greenville.

Basic Qualifications:

- Candidate must have 5 years of inventory management

experience.

- Experience reading pick tickets and distinguishing

location, quantity required and part number.

- Experience with navigating and utilizing Logistic database

systems.

Desired Skills:

- Manufacturing support experience

- SAP Knowledge

- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

- Inventory scanner

- Operating ground support equipment

- Critical Thinking

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
