What You Will Be Doing
Join our F-16 Block 70 Manufacturing Support Team to play a vital role in advancing production processes within a collaborative, team-based environment. As a key contributor, you will support the entire manufacturing and assembly lifecycle of the F-16, with a primary focus on training and certifying technicians in structural assembly processes. Through hands-on guidance and continuous improvement initiatives, you will help shape high-quality production standards and drive operational excellence on the assembly line.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-the-job training, procedural guidance, and certification for structural assembly processes to ensure proficiency and high standards.
- Maintain a constant presence on the assembly line to assess, instruct, and provide feedback, helping to uphold industry and company standards.
- Evaluate skill levels, provide corrective recommendations to supervisors, and manage re-certification for personnel as needed.
- Address complex challenges within aircraft manufacturing processes by referring to policies, established practices, and by developing innovative solutions.
- Participate in corrective action investigations, root cause analysis, and recommend/implement process improvements to streamline operations.
- Ensure your area of responsibility upholds lean manufacturing and 6S principles to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.

Basic Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience relative to aircraft manufacturing, structural assembly, or Modification.
• Experience reading and interpreting detail, blueprints, lay-out sketches, process standards and specifications
• Experience with understanding aircraft work instructions
Desired Skills:
• F-16 structural repair experience highly desirable.
• Experience in explaining/demonstrating in detail layout process and secure coordination of assemblies working to station, water, center, and butt lines shown on engineering documents.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
