Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Database Analyst located in Greenville, South Carolina. In this role, you will be in charge of database management and optimization to enhance operational efficiency and support business intelligence and reporting. You will be collaborating with various teams to uphold data accuracy and accessibility.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and develop SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to facilitate reporting and analysis.

• Partner with business units to ascertain data requirements and reporting necessities.

• Maintain and design databases, ensuring the security and integrity of data.

• Utilize ETL tools to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources.

• Monitor the performance of the database, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.

• Adhere to data governance policies and industry regulations to ensure compliance.

• Aid in planning for database migration, backup, and disaster recovery.

• Generate and uphold database documentation, including data dictionaries and schema designs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a data role

• Experience hands-on working with BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.

• Demonstrable experience in Data Analysis

• Proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language)

• Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• High level of attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
