Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Greenville, South Carolina

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a BILINGUAL Customer Service Representative in the water industry, located in Greenville, South Carolina. The role will primarily involve handling customer interactions and transactions, investigating and resolving complaints, and maintaining accurate account information.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer interactions via telephone, email, internet, or in person in a prompt, courteous, and accurate manner.

• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, reporting complex issues to the supervisor and ensuring timely follow-up as required.

• Perform cashiering tasks, such as setting up and balancing cash drawers, processing and posting payments to accounts, and updating account information.

• Process payments, receive monies, record transactions, balance cash, and forward revenues as appropriate.

• Develop rapport with internal and external customers, greet using a person’s name, and demonstrate account ownership.

• Research accounts, determine adjustments according to established rules and procedures, notify customers of deposits due and payment discrepancies as necessary, and post time extensions for payments.

• Utilize skills in Customer Service, Answering Inbound Calls, Professional Answering, Assisting Customers, and Computer Data Entry.

Requirements

• BILINGUAL (English and Spanish)

• Proficient in answering inbound calls in a professional manner.

• Demonstrated ability to assist customers effectively and efficiently.

• Skilled in computer data entry.

• Ability to professionally answer and handle customer inquiries.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints.

• Proficient in using various computer software, including CRM systems and call center software.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a team and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues.

• Willingness to work in shifts, during weekends, and holidays if needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated.

• Knowledge about the water industry will be an added advantage.
