Join Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Greenville, SC, as an F-16 Operations Engineer Sr Staff and drive continuous improvements in the production line of the renowned F-16 fighter jet. You will utilize lean manufacturing methodologies to optimize manufacturing efficiency and collaborate closely with leadership and support teams to ensure seamless production operations. Key Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications:

•Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and full understanding of lean principles as a certified Green Belt or Black Belt

• Knowledge and experience within Lean Manufacturing Systems which may include one or more of the following: Value Stream Mapping, Value Added Analysis, Pull and Flow Techniques, Cycle Time Analysis, 6S, PDCA, FMEA, DMAIC, Standard Work, Error Proofing, Visual Management & Controls

• Demonstrated strong analytical skills, ability to listen and convey information in large and small forums, both documented and orally

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration

Desired Skills:

• Experience developing and coaching through problem

solving methodologies

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

•Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification

•5+ years of production operations (Shop Floor)

experience

•Ability to work up and down the management chain from shop floor to the manager level and conduct Gemba Walks

•Skills using Minitab and or JMP

•Experienced in supporting/ facilitating Kaizen events

•Excellent collaboration skills

•Ability to develop, coordinate, lead, and execute daily

priorities

•SAP experience related to Production Operations.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
