Hogan Construction Group Commercial Construction Senior Project Manager - Greenville - 20240716 in Greenville, South Carolina

Hogan Construction Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Upstate, SC location. Project types include medium to large construction projects in Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial, Primary and Higher Education, Government, and Cultural Markets.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

This individual will be ultimately responsible for the day-to-day execution, project controls, cost, and business management of multiple projects. Experience with design-build projects featuring occupied renovations and complex MEP systems is preferred for this role.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Professionally represent Hogan as the primary interface with the Owner and the Design Team.

  • Collaborate with the estimating team during the bidding and preconstruction phases of projects.

  • Management of all project team members, including project managers, project engineers, superintendents, and interns.

  • Mentor, develop, train team members for growth.

  • Accountable for project completion and financial success.

  • Research and recommend a resolution for document interpretation issues, potential conflicts, and errors.

We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • A four-year degree and a minimum of 15 years of experience in Project Management for Commercial Construction projects between $5 Million and $25 Million in value.

  • The ability to manage and mentor three to five Project Managers or Project Engineers that oversee the daily operations of multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of complex building systems.

  • Proven success with shepherding design-build projects from the RFQ process through final closeout documents.

  • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal team members, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

  • Experience using web-based Project Management Solutions, preferably Procore.

  • Experience using Project Scheduling Software.

  • Must be able to multi-task on multiple projects in various stages of the construction process.
