Job Description/Employer Information:

The Athletic Trainer would provide coverage in a high school setting with non-teaching responsibilities. Job duties include covering all home Varsity and JV level practices/events, traveling to away Varsity Football games, managing a budget, and keeping track of supply needs throughout the year. The Athletic Trainer would also direct and supervise all activities related to the student athletes including, but not limited to, managing injuries, concussions, treatment plans, physician referrals, medical records, insurance, and other assigned duties.

Must have strong communication, time management, evaluation, and rehabilitation skills.

The Athletic Trainer would be an employee of Bon Secours St. Francis Health System working with the Athletic Director, Coaches, and staff of the high school.

Requirements: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, NATABOC (certified and in good standing), South Carolina licensed or eligible, and current CPR certification.
