Job Description Summary

The Services Blades Project Manager, will be responsible to partner with Blades Services leaders and manage a portfolio of Blade Repair projects, that can be divided per region or customers and make sure that they are executed as per GE Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost standards. This person will be responsible to update all Key performance indicators and interface with internal and external customers. Main objective is to reduce the number of hours that the blades are stopped to make a repair and increase customer satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Keep track of all blades repairs backlog to be done under your scope/region

• Interface with Services Engineering to make sure all dispositions are clear

• Communicate with customer and internal GE stakeholders

• Balance team workload and set correct priorities

• Interface and manage contractors

• Control budget

• Facilitate technical decisions to eliminate risks and or improve RTS time

• Use and apply lean tools and standard work

• Drive daily management of Blades in all regions with focus in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost;

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project, Services or Engineering Management

Desired Characteristics :

• Strong oral and written communication skills – Dynamic person

• Expertise with Digital Tools

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

• Ability to document, plan, and execute programs

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Blades Field works & Product

• Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time

• Lean tools knowledge

The salary range for this position is 91,400.00 -152,200.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Available benefits include Health, Medical, 401K, Paid Leave.
