Lockheed Martin Aircraft Crew Lead in Greenville, South Carolina

Description:

You will be a Aircraft Maintenance Crew Lead at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Greenville, SC you will be responsible for a complete maintenance of an L-100/C-130 including providing status of work documents and work accomplished.

What You Will Be Doing

The Crew Lead will be required to interface with multiple functional organizations, in addition to the Production Manager, Program Manager, and crew to resolve issues or constraints. This role will ensure that the mechanical integrity of the aircraft is maintained in a constant state of readiness. The candidate will be the intermediary between the crew and operations supervision and PMO. In this capacity, the lead will status, communicate, and support operation goals and objectives of the day/week, assess skill and complexity of tasks, issue work assignments, establish expectations of tasks completion to meet schedule performance goals. This position will ensure process integrity to include Safety, Quality, Schedule & Cost which include but are not limited to: fall protection, critical moves and crane lifts, use & disposal of hazardous materials, adherence and use of personal protective equipment (PPE), material handling and storage of staged and work-in-process (WIP) parts, clean as you go, housekeeping, Tool & Foreign Object Debris (FOD) controls. the candidate will be required to support corrective action investigations, root cause analysis, advise on and implement innovations and process improvements, as well as maintain 6S/Lean processes for their are of responsibility. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

This position is in Greenville, SC Discover Greenville.

Basic Qualifications:

* 15+ years of experience on C-130/L-100 maintenance.

* Knowledgeable of C-130/L-100 aircraft systems operations to include aircraft ground operations and flight line environment.

* Have a proficient understanding of military and Commercial (SMP 515-C) maintenance programs.

* Have 15+ years of experience with military and commercial aircraft logbooks, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, airworthiness directives and TCTOs.

* Experience with servicing, pre-flight, launch and recovery (post-flight inspection) of aircraft.

* Ability to work odd/multiple shifts in the same week.

* Must have an active Secret clearance

Desired Skills:

* Must possess an FAA A&P license.

* Experience with Isochronal/Phase inspections and Depot Level Maintenance on L-100/C-130 aircraft.

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes.

* Ability to identify aircraft locations by station, butt-line, and waterline as shown on engineering documentation and technical orders.

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exists.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
