Description

We are offering a GREAT opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the manufacturing industry located in Greenville, South Carolina. This role involves data entry, coding invoices, and reviewing purchase orders.

Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable

• Code invoices accurately to ensure proper categorization

• Enter invoices into the accounting system for payment processing

• Utilize JD Edwards software for various accounting tasks

• Use basic Excel skills for data organization and analysis

• Review purchase orders to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies

• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts or inconsistencies

• Take necessary actions to encourage timely debt payments

• Update account balance records

• Maintain organized and updated customer records

  Requirements

• AP experience preferred

• Proficiency in coding invoices is required

• Strong data entry skills are essential

• Background in the manufacturing industry is a plus

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
