Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst provides valuable insights, conducting financial research, and assisting management in making informed financial decisions. This position reports to the Finance and Operations Controller.

Responsibilities

5. Analyze and report on the current financial status.
6. Prepare and present cost projections, ad-hoc and cost/benefit analysis as needed, including customer specific pricing.
7. Identify ongoing productivity opportunities to reduce overall manufacturing costs.
8. Provide support to accountant for A/P and JE approvals.
9. Provide support to accountant for A/P payment runs, including bank disbursal approvals.
10. Various reporting and analysis.
11. Prepare and participate in annual budgeting process (for departments and projects).
12. Coordinate with the Controller and the executive team on long-term financial planning including the development of five year Strategic Plans.
13. Developing financial models through benchmarking and process analysis.
14. Support and document business processes and financial policies.
15. Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
16. Analyzing and updating standard costs using SAP - provide support to accountant.
17. Other duties as necessary.

Requirements | Qualifications

5. Previous analytical experience including forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation.
6. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
7. 5+ years of overall combined accounting, finance, and analysis experience in a manufacturing environment.
8. Must have ERP experience, SAP preferred.
9. Excellent analytical skills.
10. Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts.
11. Demonstrable strategic thinking skills.
12. Expertise in MS Excel including advanced functions.
13. CPA or CMA preferred.
14. Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
