ManpowerGroup Test Mechanics Associate in Greensboro, North Carolina

Our client, a leading innovator in the automotive industry, is seeking a Test Mechanics Associate to join their growing team.

As a Test Mechanics Associate, you will be part of the Test Department, supporting the development and testing of new vehicles and engines. In this hands-on role, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our products. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.

Job Title: Test Mechanics Associate

Location: Greensboro, NC

Pay Range: $ 36-41/hr - W2 contract

What’s the Job?

  • Assemble, instrument, and upgrade prototype test objects based on engineering designs.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues that arise during testing phases.

  • Build standard and advanced test prototypes.

  • Collaborate closely with engineers and maintain open communication.

  • Assemble, maintain, and repair test vehicles and engines.

What’s Needed?

  • 0-2 years of experience in a related field (such as automotive mechanics or manufacturing).

  • Associate's degree in a relevant technical field (preferred).

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow detailed instructions.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
