We are excited to announce that we are hiring a Technical Support Training Manager at our Greensboro location. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for our internal network focusing on new product overview, continuous education, and new employee on-boarding. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and exceptional technical writing skills to create clear and effective training materials, including manuals, guides, and e-learning content.

Core Responsibilities:

•Design and develop training programs and materials tailored to various learning styles and skill levels as new products and features are released in the market.

•Create and update technical documentation on new solutions found, communicate solution to the team and document solutions to be used in AI searches

•Support the Technical Support Manager by creating and updating standard operating procedures and best practices for diagnostic procedures.

•Develop interactive e-learning modules and multimedia presentations.

•Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and seminars for technicians, engineers, and other relevant personnel.

•Provide peer to peer and group training on heavy truck systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.

•Assess training needs and adapt content to address specific challenges and skill gaps.

•Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance during and after training sessions.

•Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to ensure training content is relevant and up to date

•Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.

•Adjust training approaches and materials based on feedback and evolving industry standards.

•Work closely with engineering, product development, and service departments to ensure training materials reflect the latest product updates and technical advancements.

•Collaborate with dealer trainers and subject matter experts to enhance training programs and content.

•Support the training requirements of Dealer Technical Support using Trucks Academy, external development schools, and seminars.

•Ensure all personnel maintains Master Tech Status

•Coordinate with all other internal and external departments/suppliers as necessary to ensure effective dealer technical diagnostics and service support.

•Actively participate in and drive where appropriate relevant business process and IT related projects.

•50% of your time may be required to help manage dealer technical support cases as needed

Who are you?

Critical Competencies:

•In-depth knowledge of heavy truck systems, components, and repair procedures. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

•Strong technical writing skills with experience creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation and training materials.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information in an understandable manner.

•Experience in delivering training programs and presentations to diverse audiences.

•Strong organizational and adaptability skills with the talent to lead, prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

•You hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical will be preferred

•You could also have an Associate Degree in Diesel/Automotive Technology with 5+ years’ experience in the related field.

You will also have experience with the following to be the best candidate:

•Automotive technical knowledge preferred in a combination with practical experience.

•5+ years’ experience in technical automotive industry

•Having good product knowledge and end-user application knowledge is an added advantage

•Proven track record supervising employees
