Job Description

Responsible for ensuring and sustaining the operational safety, product quality and records accuracy for a newly developed production line. Responsible for deploying and maintaining standards and owns the daily direction setting process and the Run to Target Process for unit/line. Responsible for building the capability of the organization and for fostering a healthy team culture.

  • Own in-process measures for line (PR, SPD, UPDT, PDT, team capability, etc.) through rigorous implementation of RTT Cycle.

  • Lead the operating team across line to best manage business results (e.g. maintenance, unplanned DT, loss elimination, training, planned stops) and manage personal growth towards career interests (training offline, time required for additional ownership, meetings)

  • Review and influence daily production plan to minimize change over and scrap losses

  • Understands, coaches and holds team accountable to all safety and quality systems and policies.

  • Complete safety investigations or quality issues and scrapping product process. Work with production planner or area to ensure production needs are met. Own and manage line/system POSS.

  • Coaching crews on RTT DMS Ownership and Execution; effectively use UPS/WPI and coach team.

  • Coach team on completion of current AM step levels and IWS Step progression.

Job Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree with previous experience in manufacturing environment

  • Strong leadership skills to supervise a team including the ability to motivate, train, and guide team to ensure smooth operations. Ability to prioritize autonomously.

  • Strong communication skills to instruct team members, collaborate with diverse group of people, and report issues or concerns.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decisions making skills to address issues promptly, minimize downtime, and ensure smooth flow of operations.

  • A highly motivated self-starter and finisher who can work under pressure but who will not compromise on quality.

  • Continuous improvement mindset.
