VF Corporation IAM Engineer in Greensboro, North Carolina

IAM (Identity Access Management) Engineer

We are looking for an IAM Engineer to solution, design, deploy, configure, and implement Identity Governance (IGA) solution based on business requirements and industry best practice. The IAM Engineer will have responsibility in analyzing, requirements gathering, creating, and refining robust Identity Management processes for all products within operation, and verification that these processes will reduce the cost and increase efficacy for the internal teams as well as the customers. The IAM Engineer will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for access provisioning, governance, and administrative needs across the organization. Strong knowledge of Identity Management modules and processes leading to the understanding of the day-to-day challenges within the Identity Management space is a must.

This role will advise the Head of Identity and Access Management and IT leadership on best practices and solutions available to implement the IAM strategy and adhere to the relevant policy and compliance requirements. In addition, participate in problem solving activities and developing intellectual property.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and real-life experience in creating solutions, designs, proof of concept, and implementation of Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC)

  • Responsible for analyzing and translating business requirements into functional and technical design

  • The candidate will promote a centralized access management architecture within VF and present automation of provisioning and governance for current and newly integrated applications, servers, databases, etc.

  • Create, maintain policies and procedures to ensure effective provisioning, de-provisioning, and entitlements of all identities; suggest and implement continuous improvement and automation opportunities

  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop requirements to design and implement compelling IAM solutions aligning to corporate strategic goals

  • Manage end to end delivery of projects with hands on involvement in the development and configuration of products around IAM

  • Advocate time to value by adopting industry standard use cases and solutions that are supported out of the box by the Saviynt EIC platform

  • Drive IAM health by implementing platform that aligns with industry best practices.

  • Build Identity roadmap that focuses on short-term and long-term outcomes and leads to stronger adoption of Saviynt EIC platform

  • Conduct research and use knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively address customer requirements

  • Build repeatable artifacts, share learnings with the rest of the team, perform peer reviews and provide thought leadership

  • Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality product on time and within budget

  • Provide technical oversight and direction to mid-level and junior Engineers

  • Train and foster top talent to be experts in technology and IAM in general

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/ equivalent in Engineering

  • 10+ years of industry experience in design, development, customization, configuration, deployment of any Identity Management and Governance products, with 3+ years’ experience working with Saviynt

  • Expert knowledge with 5+ years experience in core IAM Domains: Identity Governance and Administration, Privileged Access Management, Authentication, Authorization, Identity Lifecycle Management

  • Hands-on experience solutioning, designing, implementing, and deploying IAM/IGA solutions in an enterprise environment

  • Strong analytical skills for providing support before and post-implementation

  • Thorough domain knowledge on the below areas of IGA

  • User Lifecycle Management, Provisioning, and Reconciliation

  • Auditing, Reporting and user activity Monitoring

  • Access Certification

  • SOD (Segregation of Duties)

  • Cloud Security

  • Development Skills

  • Java/J2EE, JSON and strong SQL knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of Web Services (REST/SOAP), Directories, API development, etc.

  • Experience in UNIX Shell/Perl scripting, Batch Jobs

  • Experience in supporting Saviynt SC2.0

  • Deployment/Release of functionality/changes to various environment including production

  • Direct customer interaction and management skills

  • Strong technical presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

  • Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and maintain a positive attitude

  • Exceptional ability to assess and communicate information security concepts and practices, with both business and IT stakeholder

Good to have

  • Knowledge of Privileged Access Management

  • Knowledge of security/authorization model of popular enterprise and SaaS applications like SAP, Oracle EBS, Salesforce, Box, etc.

  • Familiarity with SAP GRC

Hiring Range :

$90,400.00 USD - $113,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
