Robert Half Division Controller in Greensboro, North Carolina
Description
We are looking for a Division Controller, who will be based in Greensboro, North Carolina. The role involves overseeing the financial operations of our multi-business units and multi-subsidiaries environment. The Division Controller will be responsible for managing all accounting operations, preparing financial reports, assisting in compliance audits, and overseeing a team.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, which include billing, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition, as well as accounts payable and general ledger
• Conduct research on technical accounting issues to ensure compliance
• Coordinate and manage the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
• Establish and enforce quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Collaborate with an external tax advisor to manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Handle additional controller duties as necessary
Requirements
• The candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience and should be acclimated to managing teams of at least 10.
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• The role demands the expertise to develop and maintain the Annual Budget.
• The candidate should be adept in Auditing processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in Financial Reporting is expected.
• Knowledge and experience in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is a plus.
• The candidate should be capable of executing Monthly Financial Reporting tasks.
• The candidate should have the ability to perform Cash Forecasting tasks effectively.
