Our client, a leading automotive manufacturer, is seeking an Accounting Associate to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, as well as maintaining relationships with vendors and customers.

salary: $19 - $20 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

AP Functions:

• Attach vendor invoices to the cases and/or verify vendor invoices are attached correctly.

• Key invoices into ASIST.

• Validate vendor invoices for payment.

• Obtain Vendor W-9 Forms when appropriate.

• Create, document, and communicate payment to the vendor.

• Research discrepancies as needed.

AR Functions:

• Review services rendered for warranty coverage.

• Compile the Customer Invoice, ensuring the event is in-balance.

• Notify customers of balances due and process payments when received.

• Refund customers for any overages paid toward the event.

• Responsible for accurately answering customer and vendor calls through research of information from various sources.
