We're on a quest to find an Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic/EMT-P extraordinaire to become our Medical Support Specialist in the thriving plasma oasis of Greenfield, Wisconsin .

Pay: $23-$25 per hour (extra $0.50 if Bilingual)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, rotating shifts (1 week opening, 1 week mid, 1 week closing)

Your Medical Utility Belt Should Include:

• Required: Paramedic / EMT-P Certification

• Required: BLS certification

• Preferred: Plasma knowledge

• Preferred: Venipuncture skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess donor eligibility, ensuring compliance with informed consent, AIDS education, confidential self-exclusion, conducting medical history interviews, acceptance criteria, performing physical examinations, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).

• Evaluate donor reactions per facility SOPs. Adhere to SOPs for medical emergencies, including implementing Center Physician's directives and arranging donor transport to emergency care facilities.

• Seek guidance from the Center Physician or Medical Affairs regarding communication of unacceptable findings to donors, and for medical or technical issues concerning donor safety and eligibility.

• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as required.

• Manage employee incidents, determining the need for further evaluation by occupational health/ER. Follow EHS protocols for handling employee incidents.

• Serve as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS, assisting in investigations related to pandemic threats within the local community as directed by EHS or Medical Affairs.
