Robert Half Senior Project Manager in Greenfield, Indiana

Description

We are in search of a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Indianapolis. As a Project Manager, you will lead projects, and maintain the quality of deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, design, execution, and completion of large construction projects. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Facilitate regular meetings and provide updates on project status, risks, and changes.

  • Utilize your knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, particularly in concrete and civil engineering, to resolve complex issues and ensure adherence to industry standards.

  • Lead and coordinate with project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Use AutoCAD, Trimble, or Tekla software for project design, analysis, and documentation. Ensure accurate and up-to-date project drawings and plans.

  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that work meets or exceeds required standards and specifications.

  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with specific experience in concrete, architecture, and civil engineering.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Trimble, or Tekla software. Strong understanding of construction and civil engineering principles and practices.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage conflicts, and drive project success.

  • Minimal travel required within Indianapolis.
