Lodging Manager

The Lodging Manager will ensure that we have safe, clean and well-maintained lodging at our Pecos, Texas location.

The Lodging Manager will perform various daily maintenance tasks around the location such as maintain landscaping, inspecting the facility, completing preventative maintenance, overseeing the check in/out process for lodging occupants, and other tasks as assigned

How You Will Fit In

  • Work through a daily, weekly and monthly task list to ensure safe and well-maintained lodging

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on lodging units as outlined on a task list

  • Perform walk-throughs and checklists when lodging occupants check in and out of their units

  • Have a familiarity with the lodging agreement and enforce the agreement as outlined

  • Responsible for repairs as needed on the lodging units – to include painting, cleaning, replacing fixtures or hardware

  • Work with District Manager to find a contractor for larger repairs

  • Responsible for ensuring paperwork is signed for each unit prior to allowing occupancy

  • Responsible for maintenance of all landscaping on the lodging property

  • Perform basic equipment repairs on tools and equipment used to maintain the property

  • Keep equipment and work tools clean, organized and secure

  • Maintain and update maintenance records and Safety Data Sheets

  • Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free. Utilize PPE

  • Maintain personal grooming standards

  • Other tasks as assigned.

Typical Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to talk and hear

  • Requires standing and walking, with some bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing

  • Occasional lifting of up to 50lbs

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

While performing these duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. While performing these duties, the employee may be exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, high-concentrated cleaning solutions, etc.
