Position Title: Warehouse Material Handler

Reports To: Purchasing Supervisor

The Packaging Warehouse Material Handler, is required to handle the day-to-day inventory responsibilities, in support of other organizational functions. This position reports to the facility Purchasing Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Unload/load delivery trucks with electric forklift

· Load supply trailers with forklift and/or physical material handling

· Follow the instructions of the Purchasing Manager / Purchasing Supervisor

· Meet deadlines for completion of the delegated tasks

· Proper storage and handling of the received stock

· Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the warehouse

· Must be available for weekend shifts

· Work on the strapping machine, adding straps to our cardboard combos

Skills and Specifications

· Forklift experience a must

· Must possess the ability to repetitively lift and carry boxes up to 60#

· Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively

· Should possess the skills of being a good team worker, self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision

· Good interpersonal skills for interacting with other departments

Education and Qualifications

High school degree or an equivalent qualification

Warehousing experience a plus

Forklift operator experience a must
