The Sr Customer Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for collaborating with our customers to improve margins, drive revenue and reduce inventory through application of end-to-end supply chain tools and tactics. The role serves as a subject matter expert in helping to improve customer satisfaction, identify best practices and obtain financial commitments. The Sr Customer Supply Chain Analyst leads root cause analysis including problem definition, investigation, and developing correction and prevention processes, researches business processes and serves as the liaison between supply chain functions, sales and our customers, communicates findings and recommendations to management and other functions, and develops metrics and measures and analyzes results.

Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for successful collaboration with Customers and functional experts to prioritize and deliver value-added solutions that meet or exceed our growth objectives.

  • Studies, interprets and develops thorough understanding of problems and opportunities.

  • Presents findings that drive understanding, alignment and informed decision-making at various levels in the organization.

  • Engineers tactical and strategic solutions that withstand the variability inherent to the business.

  • Acts as a collaborative interface with customer’s Supply Chain, Merchandizing, and Sales teams.

  • Generates, verifies and publishes periodic scorecards and reports.

  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of leading-edge business practices and technology in conjunction with industry and business skills to influence functional strategy.

  • Utilizes high-level analytical ability and creativity to analyze complex/new situations.

  • Anticipates potential problems and future trends, assesses opportunities, impacts and risks while developing and implementing plans and solution deliverables to customer problems.

  • Shares knowledge and mentors others in Customer Supply Chain and Customer Service.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related discipline required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with end-to-end customer supply chain tools to drive revenue, reduce inventory and improve margins.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to effectively communicate with higher level management is critical in this role.

  • Working knowledge of forecasting, replenishment, and supply chain policies and practices required.

  • Proven project management skills: conceptualizing, planning, estimating and executing required.

  • Demonstrated analytical and data analysis skills required, including experience developing data-driven analytical models of various operations.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel or other data analysis /mining software required.

  • Proven track record of delivering high quality results in a timely manner.

  • Excellent people skills and ability to build strong relationships.
