Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday Pay rate: \$28 - \$36/hr. HVAC Technician essential tasks: Journeyman-level HVAC experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining motors, pumps, fans, and related equipment. Proficient in using LM Buildings work order systems and performing preventative maintenance tasks. Respond promptly to house calls, addressing malfunctions and documenting events like equipment failures, leaks, and tenant complaints. Coordinate with contractors and departments to maintain a professional working environment. Support snow removal and manage weather-related building concerns, including frozen pipes and roof leaks. Qualifications: High school diploma or vocational school education with 2-4 years of experience in HVAC and facilities maintenance. Required certifications: EPA 608 (Universal) and Mechanical IV HVAC License; must be eligible for a DoD security clearance. Proficient in HVAC systems, including chiller maintenance, RTUs, and VAVs, with journeyman-level expertise. Skilled in reading blueprints, using hand tools, and metalworking tools; strong computer proficiency. Must be available for a rotating on-call schedule to support maintenance needs.
