JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 20886 JOB TITLE: CRM Application Administrator (Temporary, 1 Year Appointment) UW SYSTEM OFFICIAL TITLE: Application Administrator II POSTING DATE: May 29, 2024 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: This position reports to Director of Enterprise Applications. The CRM Application Administrator is responsible for configuring, integrating, administering, and providing advanced and varied consultation, project management, and operational support of highly complex applications or services with a large number of users. This position anticipates issues and devises resolution methodology to support the business operations of the institution. This position will report to the Information Technology Division but will work collaboratively with multiple areas that utilize CRM technology, including Continuing Education, Enrollment Services, Graduation Studies and the Weidner Center. This position will act as the liaison between the Information Technology Business Analyst and the functional users for each department. Specific job duties will include leading end-user meetings, ensuring collaboration between departments, providing training and functional end-user support. This position includes the following responsibilities: -Recommends application enhancements or changes that may involve custom design, integrations, and third-party products. -Troubleshoots hardware, software, and system problems and resolves issues and questions by working with end-users, technical staff and vendors. -Participates in the evaluation of vendor software releases and impact. -Participates in software upgrades and patches; coordinating functional testing with the Information Technology business analyst. -Participates in the design, development, and implementation of test and production objects. Defines user requirements and performs configuration, change management, and testing activities. -Develops and maintains documentation related to the system. Communicates system enhancement or changes as needed. -Plans and directs staff implementation of small to medium technical projects related to system as needed, specifically for Graduate Studies and Continuing Education. -Conducts training for various areas on software usage, optimization and efficiencies. -Serves as a backup to the GBIT business analyst to create and update access permissions and maintains user accounts to maintain application security through user profile management. -Regularly communicates with internal leadership to assess efficacy of system and discuss improvements and new features. SPECIAL NOTES: Occasional weekend or evening hours. Occasional travel in state and out of state for meetings and professional conferences. Position is a full-time, temporary 1 year, Academic Staff appointment. This position will work fully in person, on campus.
