Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will assist in industrial pulp and paper projects. This role involves planning, organizing, and managing day-to-day operations. The individual will work closely with clients to manage, integrate, and coordinate daily project activities, and review work progress with the project management team. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining the overall project tracker using existing systems and observing field progress for report updates.

Hard Skills

  • Development, maintenance, and monitoring of construction schedules

  • Accurate development of baseline schedules from project documents and specifications

  • Performing progress schedule updates with comprehensive reporting and narratives

  • Daily updates on-site progress using existing database systems

  • Breaking down project estimates to baseline earned averages versus the bid

  • Resource management and reporting

Soft Skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Effective communication with clients and management

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

50% in field and 50% in office (trailer on-site at project sites), 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (with occasional Saturdays and Sundays)
