JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job ID: 21443 JOB DETAILS: WORKING TITLE: Admissions Counselor UW SYSTEM OFFICIAL TITLE: Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator II POSTING DATE: November 26, 2024 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: This position reports to Assistant Director of Admissions for Recruitment and plans, develops, coordinates, manages, and executes the recruitment and admissions process in alignment with the institution\'s strategic goals. Represents the institution to prospective students with a goal of attracting, admitting, and enrolling a talented, diverse student body. May supervise staff and/or lead a program area. This position includes the following responsibilities: Recruit and counsel prospective students by providing timely and accurate information about degree options, admission procedures, general education requirements, supporting and major course requirements for available programs of study, and rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the institution. Use CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to effectively recruit students. SPECIAL NOTES: Travel to WI High Schools, fairs and other institutions will be necessary; a combination of daytime, evening, and weekend advising hours will be required to meet the needs of the program and its students. This position may have the option to work on-campus or a hybrid schedule, subject to approved telecommuting request. The home campus of this position is Green Bay and the successful candidate may occasionally be required to travel to or work at the Marinette, Sheboygan or Manitowoc Campus, based on operational needs. Position is a full-time Academic Staff appointment. Official transcripts of the highest degree achieved will be required of finalist(s).
