Description We are in the manufacturing industry, located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States. We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including processing cash applications, preparing bank deposits, and resolving discrepancies.

Responsibilities:

• Handle cash applications with precision and efficiency

• Manage the preparation of bank deposits as part of the finance team

• Process credit card payments effectively

• Conduct research as necessary to maintain accurate records and resolve any discrepancies

• Address and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts

• Make adjustments to customer accounts as needed

• Prepare and submit sales/use tax returns in accordance with company procedures

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Utilize data entry skills to update and maintain customer records

• Utilize Accounts Receivable (AR) skills to ensure all financial data is accurate. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) or similar role in the Manufacturing industry

• Proficient in AR systems and procedures

• Capable of performing data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency

• Proven ability to manage and maintain customer accounts

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Experience using accounting software and databases

• Understanding of basic accounting principles

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
