Sales Account Representative

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are seeking a Sales Account Representative to join our International Beef Sales Team. In this role, you will manage established accounts as well as prospect new business.

This position will be based out of our corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.

Responsibilities:

• Manage sales for accounts using market and product knowledge.

• Regular contact and follow-up with all accounts to meet their needs on product.

• Work daily with pricing and margin management to give current pricing to accounts to generate sales.

• Assist in tying orders to make full trucks in responsible area.

• Awareness on market conditions, trends and competition pricing and report to margin management.

• Multi task efficiently.

• Be able to develop sales plans and organize administrative responsibilities.

• Own and execute sales-related KPIs in agreement with management.

• Good working relationships with both internal and external customers.

• Be able to communicate shorts, on-time deliveries and order status to customers and keep high customer service levels.

• Ability to travel, as needed.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree preferred in Agriculture Business, Meat Science, Business, Marketing or Animal Science.

• Minimum 5 years or more experience in meat sales or comparable field.

• Previous management experience preferred.

• Excellent phone and presentation skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Be able to work in office environment.

• Team player.

• Microsoft Office skills.

• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

• Base salary range of $120,000 - $140,000; and

• Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
